Cute Kids

My beautiful children ready for a new day.

Feeding the Dog

Jaden has a stuffed puppy that goes everywhere, I mean everywhere, with us. On Sunday he decided that the dog needed to eat just like the cats were so he found a "dish" (old disk case) and fed his dog.

The cats were a little confused.

Blessings from God......

.....receiving a care package from Gramma

.....three phone calls instead of two from Robert

.....volunteering to babysit for the chapel and getting paid (a boost to our finances)

.....friends willing to watch my kids so I can get some much needed peace

.....Heartlink and all the info and gifts that I received

.....family that I can rely on 24/7

.....answered prayers

God is so great!!

Update on Daddy

Robert is doing well. He is still adjusting to a different way of life. Right now he is working 15 hour days, 7 days a week. He will hopefully get a day off soon. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Some specific requests are for energy, the desire to do God's will, maintaining his composure with his coworkers, and general adjustment to a new situation.
*I will try to keep everyone updated weekly once I get updates from Robert.

Dress up

The things we do to pass the time while Daddy is away......
*Jaden is wearing a tiger costume that is too small so he can't wear it with the hood up. It is not a fur lined coat. And he wanted a crown because sissy had one.

Stay safe Daddy. We love you and are praying for you everyday.

In Defense of Patriarchy.....

There are many times when I feel that how we raise our children and model our marriage is just too weird, that we don't fit with society. It takes a lot of prayer and strength to continue every day living the way that we choose to live.

Check out a post and article at Life in a Shoe on the defense of patriarchy.

If you will live like no one else,

later you can live like no one else.

Toe vs. Rock.....Rock wins

Madison and two of her friends were carrying a giant rock and when surprised by a parent catching them in the act they dropped it....on Madison's toe. Yeah, the rock won.

*You can't see it very well, but her toenail is black and is probably going to fall off. Great.
