Congratulations!

Congratulations Heidi on your new job!
My sister was recently hired at the new Lowes they are building back in Wa. This is a definite answer to prayer since she has been trying for a while to find a new job that fits with her son's daycare schedule.

My hubby

Robert is doing well overseas. He is keeping very busy and is studying hard for his upcoming cdc test. He sprained his ankle a couple weeks ago, but is back in full health now. Please keep him in your prayers.

Robert taking cover during an attack. So glad that they took the time to take a photo for me.

How to get a new dishwasher

All it takes to get housing to give you a new dishwasher is to have the old one flood your house.....twice.
Thank God we didn't have to pay for anything. The military does have it's perks. :)

And now I am legal to drive again.....

Goldfish

This story may sound like a blonde joke gone bad or maybe it is a typical day in the radio shop?

Radio troop 1 “My girlfriend is so weird, she is sending me goldfish through the mail. Doesn't she know goldfish won't live through the mail, haha so stupid doesn't she know that the fish will die when it is outside of the water? Haha”

Radio troop 2 stares blankly at Radio troop 1 "You know that goldfish crackers can come through the mail right?"

Radio troop 1 “Wait they make gold fish crackers?"

Radio troop 2 “Yeah man, their actually quite good. They are little and are quite addicting"

Radio troop 1 “wait I love those things I got some from my mom like two days ago!”

Radio troop 2 stares blankly at radio troop 1 in astonishment

Robert is Radio troop 2....and from what Robert tells me, this is a typical day. Sad.

Pumpkins!

The kids and I went to the pumpkin patch this weekend. Between the corn boxes, hay mountain, pumpkin patch, and hay ride they were amused for 2 hours. I finally had to tear them away.

The boy and his pumpkin.

Man of the House

With Daddy being away Jaden has decided to step up and be the man of the house. He has begun helping (on his own, with no prompting from mommy) to empty all the little trash cans, set up the vacuum (a little scary since he figured out how to beat the outlet plugs), help with laundry, and my favorite, make dinner.

He will disappear into the kitchen for a while and then come out to me and say "Make dinner." Then he shows me the finished product. Mmmm.

Daddy update

Daddy is doing well. He should be receiving days off this week....we'll see. Other than being tired and missing home and family he is doing pretty well. Continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Prayer requests: Some days off, beating a slight, nagging cold, remaining positive in his work environment, and that he can be a witness for God to coworkers.

How Daddy entertains himself in his spare time. He is a milk ninja. Don't ask; they have to amuse themselves somehow.

(He is the one on the left.)
